Muthiyangana Raja Maha Vihara 位于巴杜勒 (Badulla) 镇中心，是一座备受尊崇的寺庙建筑群，顶部有一座巨大的白色舍利塔。它是斯里兰卡十六座佛教圣地 Solosmasthana 之一，据信是佛陀曾到访过的地方。朝圣者来这里是为了欣赏镇中心宁静的神殿、彩绘大厅和仍在使用的寺庙的氛围。

历史

Tradition holds that the site was hallowed by a visit of the Buddha to the region, with the dagoba said to enshrine a sacred relic. The temple has been rebuilt and patronised by successive Sinhalese kings over the centuries, cementing Badulla's standing as an important religious centre in the Uva highlands.
