Overview
One of the tallest Buddha statues in Sri Lanka at around 27 m, the Bahirawakanda Buddha sits on a hill overlooking the city. The climb (or short tuk-tuk ride) is rewarded with the best rooftop view of Kandy, especially at sunset.
